TERMS OF SERVICE

Last Updated: July 19, 2026

Welcome to Polyhexia ("the Game"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Game, its official landing page website, and all associated cloud services, networks, and backend architectures—including Firebase-managed user authentication and data storage systems—provided by Cory [Placeholder for Future Studio Name] ("Developer", "we", or "us").

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Game, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use our services.

1. Eligibility & Account Creation

  • Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or use our services. If you are between 13 and 18, your parent or legal guardian must review and consent to these Terms.
  • Account Security: Account authentication and player data are managed securely via Firebase. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
  • Account Ownership: You do not own your account. Your account represents a limited, revocable right to access our game servers and services. Accounts are personal and non-transferable.

2. Cloud Systems & Virtual Economy

The Game relies on cloud infrastructure to manage a persistent, living dice collection, item databases, player trading, and a virtual marketplace.

  • The Auction House: We provide a cloud-based Auction House for players to list, trade, buy, and sell virtual polyhedral dice, weapons, and items using in-game virtual currency.
  • Loot Boxes & Random Drops: The Game features virtual reward mechanics ("Loot Boxes") containing randomized digital items. These drops are entirely digital and dictated by game logic.
  • No Real-World Value: All virtual dice, items, gear, and currencies have zero real-world monetary value. They cannot be sold for real money, cashed out, bartered outside the game ecosystem, or transferred to another network.
  • Service Availability: We reserve the right to manage, regulate, modify, or eliminate virtual items, drop rates, and Auction House mechanics at our sole discretion, without liability to you.

3. Acceptable Use & Zero-Tolerance Code of Conduct

To protect the integrity of the player pool and the virtual economy, we enforce a strict, zero-tolerance policy against malicious behavior. You agree not to:

  • Exploit Data & Traffic: Intercept, emulate, redirect, or modify the communication protocols used between the Android application and our Firebase cloud servers.
  • Disrupt the Market: Engage in botting, automated sniping, market manipulation, or coordinated exploitation of the Auction House to artificially alter item values or bypass standard progression mechanics.
  • Hacks and Cheats: Use third-party software, memory editors, macros, or unauthorized tools to force custom dice outcomes, modify damage values, or duplicate virtual gear.
  • Abuse Systems: Intentionally exploit bugs, system vulnerabilities, or server downtime to duplicate items or gain an unfair advantage.
Enforcement: We reserve the absolute right to investigate any suspected economic manipulation or cheating. Violations will result in the immediate and permanent termination of your account, a ban on future access to the game services, and the deletion of your online inventory, without prior warning or financial recourse.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

All title, ownership rights, and intellectual property rights in and to the Game and its cloud network (including but not limited to custom polyhedral dice systems, character classes, UI designs, graphics, text, backend code, and documentation) are owned exclusively by the Developer. These Terms grant you a right of use only; no ownership rights are transferred.

5. Service Interruptions & Data Loss

  • Server Downtime: Because our systems run via cloud services, we cannot guarantee that the Auction House, online logins, or cloud saves will be available 100% of the time. We are not liable for temporary service interruptions, network latency, or maintenance windows.
  • Data Persistence: While we make reasonable commercial efforts to secure player data via cloud storage, we are not liable for the loss of virtual items, dice, or account progress resulting from data corruption, unauthorized server access, system failure, or accidental deletion.

6. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Game and all cloud services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer disclaims all warranties, express or implied. The Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use or inability to use the services.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. Your continued use of the Game or its website after changes are posted constitutes your binding acceptance of the updated Terms.
